WACO, Texas (Feb. 13, 2014) - The Baylor University apparel design and product development and apparel merchandising areas have been ranked No. 27 on a list of "The 32 Most Influential Fashion Schools." The list was published in a blog post by FashionPlaytes.com, a website that invites tween girls to design and wear their own clothes. WACO, Texas (Nov. 29, 2013) -- After four weeks of head-to-head competition in alumni giving, Baylor University young alumni demonstrated their pride in the University by joining together in support of the inaugural Baylor vs. TCU Young Alumni Challenge. WACO, Texas (Oct. 23, 2012) - Baylor University's Executive MBA program is ranked 44th in United States-only based programs, according to the Financial Times' 2012 rankings. The program, which includes campuses in Dallas and Austin, also ranked first in Texas among Executive MBA programs for percentage salary increase for graduates.
WACO, Texas (Oct. 16, 2012) - Stuart and Gina Solomon of McLean, Va., were honored as Baylor University's Parents of the Year for 2012 during the University's annual Parent and Family Weekend celebration Oct. 12-13. Baylor President Ken Starr and Parents League director Judy Maggard presented the award to the Solomons at halftime of the Baylor-TCU football game on Oct. 13.
Helen E. Benedict, Ph.D., a professor and director of clinical training in the department of psychology and neuroscience at Baylor University, has been named the recipient of the annual Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award by the Texas Psychological Association. She will be presented with the award on Nov. 2 at the association's annual awards luncheon.

WACO, Texas (Sept. 14, 2012) -- C. Stephen Evans, Ph.D., University Professor of Philosophy and Humanities at Baylor University, has won first prize in the C.S. Lewis Book Prize Competition, awarded for the best book published in the philosophy of religion or philosophical theology written for a general audience in the last five years.
