WACO, Texas (Oct. 28, 2023) – The Baylor University Homecoming Bonfire has been rescheduled for tonight at 8 p.m., weather dependent.

WACO, Texas (Oct. 27, 2023) – Although Baylor University outdoor Homecoming events – Extravaganza, Pep Rally and Bonfire – were canceled Friday due to ongoing lightning in the area, the Baylor Homecoming Parade is still on schedule to step off at 8 a.m. in downtown Waco, entering campus around 8:30 a.m.

PEP RALLY AND BONFIRE CANCELED DUE TO LIGHTNING

WACO, Texas (Oct. 27, 2023) – Baylor University outdoor Homecoming events – Pep Rally and Bonfire – have been canceled due to ongoing lightning in the area.

Indoor events such as Homecoming at the Hurd are unaffected.

EXTRAVAGANZA DELAYED BY LIGHTNING

WACO, Texas (Oct. 27, 2023) – Baylor University 's Extravaganza, which was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, has been delayed until further notice due to lightning in the area. The Homecoming Pep Rally and Bonfire are still on schedule at this time.

Indoor events such as Homecoming at the Hurd are unaffected.
