Baylor Offices Closed, No Classes Scheduled Jan. 20 in Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

WACO, Texas (Jan. 17, 2020) – In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Baylor University administrative offices will be closed, and no classes will be held on Monday, Jan. 20.
The following is a list of university facility hours and closures for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
Libraries and Study Areas:
• All campus libraries will be closed. In addition, all libraries will close at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19.
• The Baylor Sciences Building will be closed.
• The Baylor Business Technology Center will be closed.
Dining Options:
• The Starbucks in Moody Library will be closed.
• The Penland Crossroads will be open during regular hours.
• The East Village Dining Commons will be open from 5-9 p.m.
• The Penland P.O.D. will be open from noon to 9 p.m.
• The Panda Express in the SUB will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• The SUB Food Court will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Common Grounds in the SUB will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• All other dining locations will be closed.
Recreation:
• The McLane Student Life Center will be open from 1 p.m. to midnight.
• The Baylor Marina will remain closed for winter until March 16.
• The Mayborn Museum Complex will remain open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Campus Resources:
• The Bill Daniel Student Union Building (SUB) will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight.
• The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• The Baylor Mail Center will be closed.
• The Baylor Health Center Clinic and Pharmacy will be closed.
• The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be closed.
Residence Halls:
• All residence halls will remain open.
