Overnight Full Closure of Southbound Frontage Road from University Parks to 4th Street

WACO, Texas (Nov. 20, 2019) - Beginning tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 20) at 7 p.m., I-35 construction crews will begin paving work on the southbound frontage road between University Parks Drive and Fourth Street. This work is expected to take to two nights and will require a full closure of the frontage road in this area overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Dependent on weather and field conditions, there is a possibility that this work will need to occur Saturday night as well.

Fans attending tonight’s volleyball game at the Ferrell Center between No. 3 Baylor and No. 1 Texas: After the game to access I-35 south, please plan to use alternate routes such as LaSalle Avenue, Loop 340 and Dutton Avenue. The underpass at 4th/5th Streets will be open for access to south I-35.
