Baylor Alumni Association Honors "Alumni-by-Choice"

The Baylor University Alumni Association will honor 40 "alumni-by-choice" at a noon luncheon Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Kronzer Great Hall at the Hughes-Dillard Alumni Center.
The 13-year-old Alumni-By-Choice program honors individuals who did not attend Baylor but believe in its mission and what it stands for. Individuals are nominated for the distinction by university alumni who recognize the candidate's devotion to and support of Baylor.
Merrie Beckham, a 1986 Baylor University alumni-by-choice, will speak at the luncheon. President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will present honorees with certificates commemorating the event.
Forty-one other alumni-by-choice, who were unable to attend the event, will receive certificates through the mail.
