Continuing Education Courses Begin at Baylor
The Baylor University Office of Continuing Education and Faculty/Staff Development will offer a variety of continuing education courses beginning in January for the Baylor and Central Texas communities.
More than 40 courses in the areas of liberal and fine arts, computers, physical fitness and special interests can help those interested in life-long learning.
The courses include a class on Texas outlaws, a study of the book of Job, feltmaking, Spanish for health care professionals, gardening, money investing, creating your own web page and a course where musicians can perform with the Waco Jazz Orchestra.
The courses range from $20 to $60, except for "Principles of Human Resource Management," which is $100 and the GRE and GMAT preparation courses which are $225. The classes meet once a week for four to six weeks and some require books and or materials. The courses are taught by experts from the community as well as Baylor faculty and staff. Some classes have limited spaces so it is beneficial to register quickly.
