Baylor Student Awarded National Gamma Sigma Scholarship

Baylor University senior Sarah B. Densman has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society in Business for the 1997-98 academic year.
She is one of six Beta Gamma Sigma members nationally to receive a scholarship. Densman was named as her chapter's recipient based on her outstanding academic achievements, leadership and community service activities. She is a finance major from Hollis, Okla.
Beta Gamma Sigma was founded as a national organization in 1913 through the merger of three separate societies established to honor academic achievement in business.
Lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is available to business majors who rank in the upper 7 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class or upper 20 percent of the graduating master's class and are enrolled at institutions where the business program is accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business.
Beta Gamma Sigma currently has a membership of 375,000 business leaders.
