Baylor to Host 1,000 Students for UIL Competition

WACO, Texas - Baylor University will host more than 1,000 students from across Texas during the University Interscholastic League Region II Spring Meet, April 19-27.
One-Act Play competition will be held Friday, April 19, in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. The Lincoln-Douglas Debate Competition will be held Friday and Saturday, April 19-20, in Castellaw Communications Center and speech competition also will be held in Castellaw on April 20. Academic Competitions will be held Saturday, April 20, in various campus locations.
Tennis competition will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23-24, in the Charlie McCleary Tennis Center in Waco and golf competition will be held Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, at the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco. Track and Field competition will be held Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, at the Baylor Track Stadium.
Top performers in the various competitions will advance to the state competition in Austin.
