ABOUT MT. JOY
The Philadelphia- and Los Angeles based Mt. Joy – Matt Quinn on vocals and guitar, Sam Cooper on guitar, Sotiris Eliopoulos on drums, Jackie Miclau on keys and piano and Michael Byrnes on bass – take their name from Mt. Joy in Valley Forge National Park, an area right outside of where Quinn and Cooper are from in Philadelphia. Forming in 2016, the band made their mark two years later when their self-titled debut album, Mt. Joy, spun off platinum single “Silver Lining,” an uplifting power ballad that went to No. 1 at AAA radio and has eclipsed more than 300 million streams across platforms. Their second album, Rearrange Us, drew widespread critical raves, with the title track gaining 100 million Spotify streams since its release. Their third LP, Orange Blood, came out of the pandemic and further cemented them with another No. 1, “Lemon Tree,” at AAA.
In 2024, Mt. Joy headlined shows at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City, two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver and at Roundhouse in London, achieving a 60+ date North American and European tour that sold more than 180,000 tickets. Over the past six years, Mt. Joy has amassed over a billion streams and earned acclaim from The New York Times, Billboard, Rolling Stone, PEOPLE and more. Throughout their career, the band has performed at a variety of festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo. Additionally, Mt. Joy has performed on James Corden, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night television.
In 2025, Mt. Joy continued their ascent with the release of their fourth studio album, Hope We Have Fun, releasing two new tracks “Highway Queen” featuring GRAMMY winner Maren Morris and “She Wants To Go Dancing.” Mt. Joy’s undeniable musical prowess, live musicianship, and stage presence are steadily catapulting them to become household names, as they fast become one of America’s most beloved live bands.
ABOUT AX AND THE HATCHETMEN
Formed in 2018, Ax and the Hatchetmen came roaring out of Chicago with feel-great, crowd-pleasing shows, tight-knit musical camaraderie and a wide range of influences spanning generations and genres. Led by guitarist/singer Axel Ellis, the band also features Sal Defilippis on guitar, Hunter Olshefke on bass, Nick Deputy on drums, Phil Pistone on trumpet and Quinn Dolan on saxophone. Along with Ellis, the road-tripping sextet originally met in music school, where they were studying jazz. Though each band member has a formal music education, together Ax and the Hatchetmen have a loose, organic, rollicking vibe, channeling everyone from the Strokes to the Specials to the Rolling Stones, the Black Keys, Pink Floyd, ELO, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Cage The Elephant and Hippo Campus.
Over the past few years, Ax and the Hatchetmen have sold out headlining tours, played their hometown festival, Lollapalooza, dropped a live album and scored a deal with Arista Records. Their debut album So Much To Tell You, produced by Jake Sinclair (Panic! At The Disco, Weezer, Avril Lavigne), features a cameo from Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes on the lead single “Blurry Lights.” Another single, “Hotel,” has been in among Spotify’s top 50 viral songs throughout spring 2026 and launched the band from 400,000 monthly listeners to more than two million in only a few weeks. In addition, Ellis launched his on-screen career this year with a featured role in the Amazon Prime series The Runarounds.
