  • Meet the Scientists | Pitts Lab

    10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Mayborn Museum

    • Visitors will meet researchers from the Pitts Lab and discover how scientists study mosquitoes and other disease-carrying arthropods to understand how they sense humans and their environment, which could lead to new ways to track and control vector‑borne diseases such as dengue and Zika.
  • Meet the Scientists | World Water Day

    1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the Mayborn Museum

    • It’s World Water Day! Baylor CRASR researchers guide families through hands‑on activities exploring the urban water cycle—from water sources to treatment to environmental return. Visitors of all ages can learn how water moves through a city, why water quality matters, and how everyone can help protect this essential resource.
