Hyewon Jung, a Baylor University undergraduate psychology major from Houston, has been selected as a Colgate-Palmolive Scholar by the 1,000 Dream Fund and Colgate-Palmolive Co.

This program provides financial support and mentorship to students pursuing careers in the healthcare industry. Designed to help cultivate a strong future workforce, the initiative creates a pathway for individuals seeking to build meaningful and successful careers in healthcare, helping offset costs beyond tuition and offering assistance for a range of professional and academic needs. 

An aspiring Physician Assistant, Jung’s goal is to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while expanding access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.

“Being selected as a Colgate-Palmolive Scholar is an incredible honor and encouragement as I continue preparing for a career in healthcare,” Jung said. “This opportunity motivates me to keep serving others with compassion and to use my education to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and communities.”
