The Greatest Show in Sports – Banana Ball! – is bringing its 2027 World Tour to Baylor University’s McLane Stadium May 7-8, and you won’t want to miss a minute of this fast-paced, fans-first version of baseball that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen. The McLane Stadium tour stop will feature games between Banana Ball’s Texas Tailgaters and Party Animals, as announced Thursday night along with the rest of the 2027 Banana Ball World Tour.
“Banana Ball has set the standard as one of the most engaging fan experiences in sports, and few organizations put fans first better than they do. Bringing that experience to McLane Stadium is intentional as we aspire to serve our fans – creating memorable moments that extend beyond football and bring Baylor and Central Texas together,” said Doug McNamee, vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics at Baylor. “Hosting the first baseball game in McLane Stadium history is going to be fun and we are so excited to welcome fans for two unforgettable nights in Waco.
Created by the world-famous Savannah Bananas, Banana Ball is packed with 11 unique rules designed to keep the action non-stop and the crowd on their feet from the first pitch to the last out. From the no-walks rule to the point-per-inning system – plus trick plays, dancing, singing and more – every aspect of Banana Ball is designed with one goal in mind: entertain the fans. It’s baseball reimagined, and once you watch it, you can’t go back.
“Banana Ball is not just a baseball game, it’s an experience that captivates and brings together an entire community,” said Jason Cook, vice president for marketing and communications and chief marketing officer at Baylor. “We appreciate the support of Destination Waco and the Tourism Public Improvement District in helping bring Banana Ball to Waco as we attract families and spectators from across the region and beyond for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of fun and excitement at McLane Stadium.”
This will be the first baseball game held at the 12-year-old McLane Stadium, which regularly hosts non-football events such as Topgolf Live Oct. 29 to Nov. 1. In August 2025, McLane Stadium hosted The Boys from Oklahoma concert tour, which packed the venue with nearly 36,000 attendees.

Fans are encouraged to join the Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com for a chance to purchase tickets. The Ticket Lottery is open now and will close on Oct. 31, 2026, at 10:59 p.m. CT. A random drawing will determine purchase opportunities.
