Baylor University’s Dr Pepper Hour Tour is in its fourth year, kicking off the Spring 2025 swing with a focus on the West Coast. The five-week spring tour will make its debut in Seattle before heading to additional stops in San Jose, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Phoenix and El Paso.
The Dr Pepper Hour Tour, a mobile extension of Baylor’s cherished on-campus tradition since 1953, brings free Dr Pepper floats and Baylor spirit to prospective students and alumni communities nationwide. The Spring 2025 tour will kick off in the Seattle area, visiting Bellevue Christian High School in Clyde Hill on Wednesday, March 19; Kings High School in Shoreline on Thursday, March 20; and The Bear Creek School in Redmond on Friday, March 21.
“We wanted to bring this legendary Baylor treat – a true taste of the Baylor campus experience – out to prospective students and our Baylor Alumni families,” said Jason Cook, Baylor’s vice president for marketing and communications and chief marketing officer. “It’s such a unique tradition and an innovative approach to connecting with the Baylor family; where else do students enjoy free ice cream with their friends every week of their college experience?”
This spring, the tour will extend well outside of the confines of the University’s Waco campus, marking a significant expansion of the program’s national reach. Each stop will feature a full Baylor experience, including Baylor signage, Admissions counselors and a limited supply of float kits. Attendees will receive a Baylor-branded cup, ice cream and a can of Dr Pepper to recreate the signature on-campus tradition. Additional Baylor merchandise and giveaways will be available while supplies last.
The Dr Pepper Hour Tour has become a celebrated tradition that fosters connections between Baylor and prospective students, alumni and fans nationwide. With the expansion into Seattle and beyond, the tour continues to grow its reach and share the Baylor spirit with new communities.
