WACO, Texas (Dec. 5, 2022) – The online MBA program in Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business has been ranked No. 11 nationally among the 2023 Best Online MBA Programs by Poets & Quants, the definitive online publication for business education news.

“The new rankings reflect our success in recruiting high-quality students who desire to learn from nationally acclaimed faculty at Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business. The benefits of a Baylor MBA go well beyond advancing a career by providing students the skills to approach complex business ideas with faith-based integrity,” said Sandeep Mazumder, Ph.D., The William E. Crenshaw Endowed Dean of the business school.

Combining high education standards with a flexible schedule, students in the Baylor online MBA program learn from the same curriculum as on-campus MBA students taught by the same nationally acclaimed faculty, who are committed to providing the leadership skills and relevant business knowledge students need to advance their careers. Baylor online MBA students can earn an MBA while continuing their career, uninterrupted, in as few as 12 months.

In addition to Baylor’s general MBA, students can choose from four in-demand concentrations to gain the competitive edge to succeed in today's workplace:

Poets & Quants based its sixth annual online MBA ranking on three core dimensions:

  • Quality of the incoming students;
  • Graduates’ assessment of the MBA experience, both academic and extracurricular activities; and
  • Career outcomes of a program's graduates.

Data for the Poets & Quants ranking was gathered from both school and alumni surveys. The school survey asked for a wide variety of data points, including admission standards. The alumni survey sought recent graduates' impressions on a range of topics, as well as whether the program fulfilled their expectations and whether they would recommend it to others.

This year, Poets & Quants surveyed students graduating between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022. In all, 7,489 alumni were surveyed and 1,351 responded, for an average response rate of 18%.
