WACO, Texas (Aug. 23, 2018) – This week, Baylor University will host two Chapel Service speakers, Movie Mondays and lectures in environmental science and chemistry.
MONDAY, Aug. 27
Movie Mondays at the Hippodrome - Movie Mondays begin the fall semester with a screening of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” a documentary in remembrance of Fred Rogers’ legacy and career. The screening will be at 7 p.m. at the Waco Hippodrome, 724 Austin Ave. Free tickets can be picked up at the Bill Daniel Student Center ticket office or online.
Chapel Highlights - American gospel musician Jonathan McReynolds will perform during Chapel services at 9:05, 10:10 and 11:15 a.m. in Waco Hall, 624 Speight Ave. McReynolds began his music career in 2012 with the release of the album “Life Music.” To watch the live broadcast, visit the Spiritual Life website.

Chapel Highlights - Baylor President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D., will speak during Chapel services at 9:05, 10:10 and 11:15 a.m. in Waco Hall, 624 Speight Avenue. For more information, visit the Spiritual Life website.
Environmental Science Seminar - Sascha Usenko, Ph.D., associate professor of environmental science in Baylor’s College of Arts & Sciences, will speak at a seminar in Room A.108 of the Baylor Sciences Building, 101 Bagby Ave. The event is presented by Baylor’s environmental science department. FRIDAY, Aug. 31
Chemistry and Biochemistry Colloquium - Jeffrey Rack, Ph.D., chemistry professor at the University of New Mexico, will present “Photochromism and Photonatism in Ruthenium Sulfoxide Complexes and Materials.” The colloquium will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in room C.105 of the Baylor Sciences Building.
