WACO, Texas (March 21, 2014) – The Baylor School of Music will present the Dean’s Honor Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, in Roxy Grove Hall.
The concert, designed to showcase the top talent in the school, will feature solo and duet performances from students who represent different divisions – strings, vocal, brass, woodwind, piano, composition and percussion.
Bassoonist Jennifer Lane, representing the woodwind division, said she feels very honored to be chosen as a performer for this concert.
“I do feel pressure to perform well (for the dean), but at the same time I’m so excited to be able to share my music with people,” she said. “The excitement kind of takes away the nerves.”
The concert is free and open to the public. Roxy Grove Hall is at 624 Speight Ave. For more information, call the Baylor School of Music at (254) 710-3991.
