WACO, Texas (Aug. 7, 2012) - In a continuing effort to provide alumni, parents and the general public with a convenient online ordering system for Parent and Family Weekend, Homecoming special events and single-game football tickets, Baylor University will launch single-game and event ticket sales at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8. Parent and Family Weekend, Oct. 12-13

Tickets for Parent and Family Weekend special events and merchandise will be available for purchase online beginning Aug. 8 at www.baylor.edu/parentandfamilyweekend/buy.

Ticketed Parent and Family Weekend special events include:

• After Dark, an annual Parents and Family Weekend tradition that showcases the talents of Baylor students, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, in Waco Hall
• Baylor vs. TCU football game, time TBA, Saturday, Oct. 13, at Floyd Casey Stadium

Baylor Homecoming, Nov. 2-3
Tickets for Homecoming special events and merchandise also will be available to purchase online beginning Aug. 8 at www.baylor.edu/homecoming/buy.

Ticketed Homecoming special events include:
• Pigskin Revue, with performances Nov. 1-3 in Waco Hall
• Reunion Buffet Receptions from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Getterman Indoor Softball Facility, hosted by the Baylor Alumni Network for those who graduated in 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002 or 2007
• Baylor vs. Kansas football game, time TBA, Saturday, Nov. 3, at Floyd Casey Stadium

"Baylor Athletics, Chamber of Commerce, Baylor Alumni Network and Student Activities have worked together for the past few years to provide a convenient and efficient ticketing system for major University events this fall," said Matt Burchett, director of student activities at Baylor. "The system has worked very well, and we are pleased to offer the same service again this year."

"Our integrated ticketing system is another step forward in successfully meeting the special event needs of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and families, whether they plan to attend Parent and Family Weekend, Baylor football games, Pigskin Revue or Baylor Network events at Homecoming," said Kevin P. Jackson, Ph.D., vice president for student life at Baylor.

Baylor's popular Pigskin Revue is an annual Homecoming tradition that showcases the winning acts from the previous spring's All University Sing competition. Pigskin Revue tickets will be released for online ordering on Aug. 8 and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Baylor Football Season/Single-game Tickets

Coming off a record-setting 2011 campaign that produced just the second 10-win season in program history and saw more than 100 school records fall, the 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl Champion Baylor Bears look to continue their momentum in 2012. With strong core of returning starters, including All-Big 12 performers Ahmad Dixon, Mike Hicks, Sam Holl, K.J. Morton, Jordan Najvar, Tevin Reese, Cyril Richardson, Terrance Williams and Erik Wolfe, Coach Art Briles' 2012 Bears will take aim at a third straight bowl bid against a schedule that features nine teams that played in the postseason a year ago.
