'Baylor Today' Features Stanton Interview
The April 1996 edition of "Baylor Today," Baylor University's video magazine, features an interview with new Baylor athletic director Tom Stanton.
Stanton, a Baylor alumnus and former marketing executive, was chosen by President Robert B. Sloan Jr. to become athletic director effective June 1. In an interview with "Baylor Today" sports host John Morris, Stanton talks about his plans for strengthening athletic programs at Baylor and about the steps the university is taking to prepare for competition as a member of the Big 12 Athletic Conference.
Also included in the April edition of "Baylor Today" is an interview with former Baylor historian Dr. Eugene Baker, who has just completed the first full-length biography ever written about Judge R. E. B. Baylor, the university's namesake and one of its founders; a look at programs offered by the Baylor Institute for Family Business; and a video portrait of the recent Pioneer Heritage Day celebration at Baylor.
"Baylor Today" can be seen on The College Channel, cable channel 18 in Waco. During April, it will air at 9 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
