Darden, Emeritus Professor and founder of the Black Gospel Music Preservation Program at Baylor, is quoted about the release of the Louisville Story Program’s box set, "I'm Glad About It: The Legacy of Gospel Music in Louisville, 1958–1981," that features 83 restored recordings of gospel music performances accompanied by a book that documents Louisville's legacy of Black gospel music.

Waco Tribune-Herald: Puppets, music, imagination bring ‘James and the Giant Peach’ to life on Waco stage
Baylor Theatre professors Michael Sullivan, M.F.A., assistant professor of set design, and Guilherme Almeida, M.M., senior lecturer of musical theatre, continue their involvement in the Waco’s Young Festival Stage company, which is producing “James and the Giant Peach” with puppets, song, creative theatrics and a live orchestra. The company desires to introduce young audiences to well-performed, well-crafted theater.

Baylor Connections: Candi Cann
AUDIO: Candi Cann spent last year in South Korea after earning a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award. An assistant professor of religion in the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core, Cann is a noted researcher on death and dying around the world. In this Baylor Connections, Cann takes listeners to South Korea and shares experiences from her time there, while further delving into her research and why she hopes to make it easier for people to discuss challenging topics like death and grief.
