Baylor Holds Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The fifth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, in Miller Chapel on the Baylor University campus. This year's celebration is sponsored by the Association of Black Students and the Baylor Students for Social Justice.
A unity walk will begin at 6:45 p.m. from the front steps of the Bill Daniel Student Center, located at the corner of Fifth Street and M.P. Daniel Esplanade.
The guest speaker will be Kenyatta Gilbert, a Baylor graduate. His father, the Rev. Robert L. Gilbert, was the first African American graduate of Baylor. Kenyatta received a master's degree from Princeton University and is pursuing his Ph.D. at Princeton.
